What is the difference between the LSL3 and LSL2 strip lights?
The LSL3 is the current-generation strip light with selectable wattage (24–80W), DLC qualification (6 listings, rebate-eligible), and 3500K CCT. The LSL2 is a value-tier option with fixed wattage per SKU, multiple CCT options (3000K/4000K/5000K), but no DLC listing. Choose LSL3 for projects requiring DLC rebate eligibility or higher lumen output. Choose LSL2 when CCT selection and budget are the priorities.
Can LED strip lights replace fluorescent T8 fixtures?
Yes. Jarvis LED strip lights are designed as direct replacements for T8 and T12 fluorescent strip fixtures. The LSL3 at 40W replaces a standard 2-lamp T8 strip (~66W system) at approximately 39% energy reduction with superior light quality and 50,000+ hour lifespan. For retrofit-in-place without changing the fixture body, see the SRK retrofit kit series instead.
What mounting options do Jarvis strip lights support?
Both LSL3 and LSL2 support surface mounting (direct to ceiling or structure) and pendant mounting via chain or V-hook suspension. Surface mounting is typical for utility and storage areas. Pendant mounting is typical for low-bay warehouse aisles where fixtures hang below structural members. No additional mounting hardware is required — mounting components are included.
Are Jarvis LED strip lights eligible for utility rebates?
The LSL3 series is DLC-qualified with 6 active listings, making it eligible for utility rebate programs. The LSL2 series is not DLC-listed and does not qualify for rebates. For projects where utility rebate eligibility is a requirement, specify the LSL3.
